Aloka Wijesundara

Aloka Wijesundara supports a diverse range of clients on matters related to reputation building, crisis situations, and profile raising, while providing thoughtful research and media monitoring support. Prior to joining FGS Longview, Aloka was a student at Queen’s University specializing in politics, philosophy, and economics. During her time in university, Aloka supported the policy development and government relations efforts of a regional chamber of commerce, and led the financial operations and advocacy efforts on behalf of 13, 000 students as Vice President, Operations of the University’s largest faculty student government. Aloka has been actively engaged in various local and global initiatives focused on promoting equity and inclusion of underrepresented communities in politics, education, and global health, including advocating for youth engagement in government policy development at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.
