Liam Lawson

Liam Lawson is a Senior Advisor based in Victoria, bringing nearly a decade of experience in government, with a focus on strategic communications, policy development, stakeholder engagement, and issues management. Prior to joining Longview in 2023, Liam served as Chief of Staff to three of British Columbia’s Finance Ministers where he helped oversee the development and roll-out of various high-profile policies, including five provincial budgets. He has also served as Chief of Staff to the Minister of Public Safety and Government House Leader in British Columbia, Deputy Director of Legislative Affairs in the Alberta Premier’s Office, Manager of Stakeholder Relations and Legislative Affairs in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, and worked in Canada’s aerospace engineering sector. Liam earned a degree in Engineering Physics from the University of British Columbia.
